The Lisieux sanctuary is looking for a VERSATILE FEUTIER/AGENT M/F to strengthen the current team.

Work on weekends and public holidays

CONTEXT
Located in the diocese of Bayeux and Lisieux, the Sanctuary of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux attracts nearly a million pilgrims per year.
The pastoral animation of the Sanctuary is entrusted by the Bishop to the Rector and to chaplains from different communities.
Teams of 35 employees and a dozen nuns are mobilized for the life of the Sanctuary and the various reception activities: reception of pilgrims, hospitality, administrative and technical services.
The Basilica of Saint Teresa is the first place to visit the sanctuary for pilgrims who come from all over the world.

MISSION

Attached to general services, you will be responsible for contributing to the good reception of pilgrims in the Basilica and the crypt by setting up a varied offer of lights, the good maintenance of the displays and the provision of all of the the documentation.
Your involvement in all actions enabling the good reception of pilgrims and the smooth running of their pilgrimage will be essential, in particular by paying particular attention to the welcome of the pilgrim who addresses you with the aim of providing him with the best information possible.
The devotional lights are preponderant in the spiritual approach of pilgrims.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Performs the following tasks:

  • Placing the lights in the displays
  • The maintenance of tables, burners and the cleanliness of the areas where they are located.
  • Management of all stocks (candles, candles, leaflets, magazines, etc.) and
    communicates to your manager the purchases to be made
  • Receipt and storage of deliveries

  • Make sure to fill the displays with prospectuses, magazines, leaflets and others
    Sanctuary publications
  • The closure and/or opening of the entire Basilica site.
  • Maintenance of the exteriors close to the Basilica: Cloister, steps of the Basilica,
    circulation spaces of the Dome and the Triforium.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the Reliquary area
  • Carry out monthly and annual inventories.
  • Occasionally helps with the interior maintenance of the Basilica.

YOUR KNOW-HOW

CAP level and you have proven experience.

YOUR SKILLS

You are very quickly autonomous, dynamic, organized, rigorous, you like contact and you demonstrate open-mindedness as well as great adaptability and flexibility.
You like teamwork and demonstrate discretion.
You know how to adapt to a diversity of interlocutors “pilgrims, priests, religious, lay people, volunteers, employees”
