In November 2018 Josua had an accident while playing football. One of the three knee bones broke apart. The x-rays showed that his right knee was seriously damaged, the bone was no longer in its place, and the doctor explained to him that he could no longer play football for at least a year or for an even longer period because the wound would need considerable time to heal. Maybe he would never be able to practice any sport again […] We were especially blessed in our Catholic Church here in Iceland when Saint Thérèse of Lisieux and her parents visited us. Josua cried a lot and implored Saint Thérèse to help him, he began to pray intensely, asking her to help him, and promised to come to her house (in Lisieux) and to bring her flowers and a model of a sailing ship. He kept praying at home and every Saturday at mass. When he went to the doctor again for a check-up, the doctor couldn't believe his eyes. The knee was completely healed and functioned as if nothing had ever happened. Josua was very happy and told the doctor that a miracle had taken place and that it had happened thanks to the intercession of this little nun. The doctor had to realize that there had been a miracle. Nothing else could explain the sudden and complete healing of the knee.
