One evening – April 2, 2020 – my phone vibrates. It's a written message from Louise! She had heard of an upcoming program by Stéphane Bern which would be entirely devoted to Thérèse. This information made him think of me and Thérèse. His very short message froze me! “André, I am cursed! I'm thinking of you and Thérèse. I am pregnant again but my baby has an edema behind the skull and his chances of living are slim! » In an instant I understand that by coming back to me, she is coming back to Thérèse. I see in this resumption of contact an immense act of faith. I know Thérèse and I know that she will not be able to remain insensitive to this call which is indirectly addressed to her. Then I say to myself we must pray to Zélie Martin! I am firmly convinced of this, Zélie is the only one who can understand and help Louise. Indeed, Zélie experienced the death of an infant three times, she lost Hélène, an adorable five-year-old child, she was on the verge of losing Thérèse too. She is the one to call for help! It is a certainty that imposes itself on me.
Without waiting, I wrote a message to Louise to this effect and sent her a photo of Zélie by post, advising her to pray to her. For my part, I immediately begin a novena to Zélie! My novena begins on May 3 and ends on the evening of May 12. On May 13, I received a message from Louise telling me that that same day she had to undergo an amniocentesis. Before this sample, the doctor insisted on carrying out a final CT scan on the fetus. There, stupor, there is nothing left on the images, the edema has disappeared, everything has returned to normal. Only comment from the medical profession: "It's inexplicable! » The term “miracle” is rarely used in medical circles. The pregnancy will proceed normally with all the exams confirming one after the other that the baby is doing well. And it is a beautiful little girl, Lucie, of 2k500 who will be born on November 17, 2020. Louise will confide to me later that before knowing that her baby was in danger she had thought of the name of Zélie[1].
