The program throughout the week

During the week of the Feast of Saint Therese (except Sunday, October 5), all 16:30 p.m. Masses will take place in the Basilica (and not in the crypt) at the Scottish Chapel, with the exception of the one on Tuesday, October 1, which will be held at the high altar of the Basilica.

From Thursday 2 to Saturday 4 October: Lisieux Teresian Colloquium

The symposium for the centenary of the canonization of Thérèse, Jean Eudes and Jean-Marie Vianney will offer a series of fascinating conferences from October 2 to 4, all free of charge, under the direction of Father François-Marie Lethel, to discover or deepen the spirituality of Saint Thérèse, Doctor of the Church, through her life and her writings.

Closing weekend

Saturday, October 4

20:30 p.m.: Vigil at the cathedral organized by the Carmelite family

Dimanche octobre 5

  • Mass at 11 a.m. at the Basilica presided over by Mgr Jacques Habert, Bishop of Bayeux-Lisieux (broadcast on Youtube et Facebook)
  • Exceptional brass concert by the Lisieux association Horizon Cuivres and the brass ensemble of the Lisieux Conservatory at 14:15 p.m. from the rotunda of the Basilica before the return procession of the reliquary to Carmel from 15:00 p.m.
  • Vespers at Carmel at 15:30 p.m.
  • The 16:30 p.m. mass will again take place in the crypt.
