We are pleased to announce that the Basilica of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux has been selected to participate in the first round of the program "The French People's Favorite Monument", broadcast on France 3.

This year, the competition begins with a regional voting phase. Each region will have to choose the monument that will represent it at the national level in an attempt to win the title of France's Favorite Monument 2026.

For Normandy, the Basilica of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux is among the monuments in competition. This is a fantastic opportunity to highlight this iconic site in the city of Lisieux, capital of the Pays d'Auge (Calvados, Normandy), known far beyond our borders by pilgrims from all over the world.

How to participate ?

The vote is open to everyone and takes place exclusively online:

  • Voting opens: Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 10 a.m.
  • Voting closes: Friday, May 22, 2026 at 23:59 PM
  • Only one vote per IP address is allowed.
