The event is over.

A day of fellowship for sick people is being offered by the Sanctuary of Lisieux on the 2ndth Saturday of each month from March to September 2026. This day takes place at the Sainte Thérèse Hermitage, from 14pm to 17pm.

These gatherings are open to anyone suffering, whether physically or emotionally. Caregivers and families are also welcome to participate in this moment of fellowship, as are all pilgrims in Lisieux.

Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.

Matthew 4:23
The agenda for these meetings
  • Reception time
  • Time for listening, sharing, and testimonies
  • Training time (sharing around a theme; reflection on the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick)
  • Time for the celebration of the Eucharist in the Chapel of Smiles.

Finding no help on earth, poor little Thérèse turned to her Mother in Heaven, praying with all her heart that she would finally have pity on her… Suddenly, the Blessed Virgin appeared beautiful to me, so beautiful that I had never seen anything so beautiful; her face radiated ineffable goodness and tenderness, but what penetrated me to the very depths of my soul was the “ravishing smile of the Blessed Virgin.” […] Ah! I thought, the Blessed Virgin has smiled at me, how happy I am… […] Seeing my gaze fixed on the Blessed Virgin, she must have said to herself: “Thérèse is healed!” Yes, the little flower was about to be reborn to life; the radiant light that had warmed her would not cease its blessings. It does not act all at once, but gently, sweetly; it raised up her flower and strengthened it so that five years later it blossomed on the fertile mountain of Carmel.
