DAY 1
  • Welcome to the Saint John Paul II Space at the Basilica (free parking, distribution of a leaflet and personalized visit advice by a member of the pastoral team, dedicated support for children)
  • Screening of a film about the story of Saint Thérèse (30 min, FR/ENG)
  • Visit to “Les Buissonnets”, the family home of Saint Thérèse where she lived with her father and sisters from the age of 5 to 15.
  • On the return journey, a stop at Saint Peter's Cathedral where centuries of history gaze back at you.
  • Lunch at the Hermitage, one of our two pilgrim houses (reservation required, free parking)
  • A visit to the Carmelite chapel to discover the reliquary of Saint Thérèse where her relics are kept
  • Prayer at the reliquary in the Basilica at 15 p.m., followed by a self-guided visit to the Pixi figurine exhibition in the cloister and the Wax Museum depicting key scenes from the life of Saint Thérèse.
  • Mass in the crypt at 16:30 PM
  • Free time to stroll through the streets of Lisieux
  • Dinner and overnight stay in one of our pilgrim houses (in May and June, a copy of the magazine “Thérèse de Lisieux” will be given to you for any reservation with the password “secret garden”)
DAY 2
  • Breakfast (from 7:30 am)
  • Visit the Carmel Memorial where objects relating to the life of the Carmelites and the fabulous destiny of Saint Teresa after her death are exhibited.
  • Mass at the Carmel at 11:15 am
  • Lunch is available at the Hermitage (or a picnic upon request).
  • Safari experience at Cerza Zoological Park (15 minutes by car from Lisieux, tickets available on site or online)

With one more night to enjoy the days to the fullest!

  • Dinner and overnight stay in one of our pilgrim houses, with direct access to the Notre-Dame du Sourire chapel
DAY 3
