On the occasion of the 6th edition of the event “The 25th Hour of Sanctuary Cities” on Saturday, October 26, 2024, take part in a free and unique guided tour:

Music, ancient or contemporary, secular or sacred, linked to emblematic buildings and personalities of Lisieux

Meet at 18:30 p.m. at the bandstand in the Bishopric garden. End of the visit at 20 p.m. on the forecourt of the basilica where the bells will ring in unison with those of other sanctuary cities across France. A moment of conviviality will conclude this event!

Traditionally, the event takes place on the day of the change to winter time. The goal: to take advantage of this extra hour to discover the sanctuaries of the association of sanctuary cities in a different way.

A symbol: the sound of bells
The bells of all the sanctuaries will ring in unison at 20 p.m. across France. A symbolic moment of union and communion between all the sanctuaries of the association.
