On September 27 and 28, in communion with the opening weekend of the Feast of Saint Theresa, the town of Domrémy-la-Pucelle, near Reims, will host a large pilgrimage-festival as part of the 600th anniversary of the apparitions of Saint Michael to Saint Joan of Arc.

For this occasion, relics of Saint Therese will be exposed for the veneration of pilgrims at the Basilica of Saint Joan of Arc in Domrémy, alongside relics of Saint Joan of Arc (her ring and a letter signed by her hand), Saint Catherine and Saint Margaret, the “voices” of Joan!

This is a first in a sanctuary! Both secondary patron saints of France along with Our Lady, the relics of Saint Theresa and Saint Joan of Arc will be brought together in Domrémy-la-Pucelle for a great Pilgrimage of Hope organized by the Universal Association of Friends of Joan of Arc for the benefit of France, peace, and the Church, on September 27 and 28.

At a Saturday evening Mass presided over by Bishop Gourdon, Bishop of Saint-Dié, and Bishop de Moulins-Beaufort, Archbishop of Reims and President of the Conference of Bishops of France, a special prayer will be read in communion with the shrines of Lisieux and Mont-Saint-Michel. It will be available at the Basilica of Sainte-Thérèse.

At the same time, in Lisieux, the great reliquary of Saint Therese will be displayed in the Basilica for a vigil, following a torchlit procession from Carmel, as part of the Feast of Saint Therese.
