Each year, the Shrine of Saint Therese of Lisieux welcomes dozens of volunteers of all nationalities, ages, and experiences, who volunteer in various services, on an ad hoc or regular basis, to benefit from a pastoral and missionary experience with Saint Therese.

On an ad hoc or regular basis (one day a week, a full week, a weekend or a month), the volunteer comes to give his time, his good humor and his talents to the Sanctuary of Lisieux (Basilica, Buissonnets, hospitality houses).

He participates in voluntary missions in several areas:

  • home
  • guided tours
  • supervision of processions and major festivals
  • maintenance of premises and green spaces
  • Music courses
  • archiving
  • household
  • flowers
  • sacristy help
  • ...

Throughout their mission, volunteers are accompanied in community by chaplains and a member of the pastoral center to help each one nourish their spiritual life at the school of Saint Therese.

Depending on the pace or duration of their commitment, each volunteer can benefit from accommodation with meals, training time and life in fraternities accompanied by a priest (mass, prayer, talks, shared meals, etc.).
